Here,
I would like to provide the NTC ADSL Settings for Tenda routers. The settings for other routers are quite similar.
In the router, make sure that the DSL/Link Light is continuous. If it is blinking, then connect main line to the splitter, then connect modem to router, and finally connect to phone line. It must be constant.
Now, follow these steps:
1. Open a browser and type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar.
2. Put admin in both username and password.
3. Setup page will open.
4. In primary setup
5. Set link type to phone cable
6. Country to nepal
7. ISP to NTC
8. VPI: 8 and VCI: 81
9. Connection Type: PPPoE
10. Type the username and password provided by NTC. (adslxxxxxxx for both, where xxxxxxx is your phone number)
11. Now it's time for Wifi Setup
12. In Wifi SSID type your wifi name
13. In Wifi key type the wifi password
14. Click on OK Button on the bottom of the page.
